When there’s serious volume to move, the Maren ProPAK two-ram balers deliver fully automatic operation with high throughput and low electrical consumption. A large “Wide Box” opening handles a wide variety of recyclables — cardboard, paper, fiber, plastics, and scrap metals. Maren’s SmartBale intelligent control saves a complete parameter set per commodity, so an operator reconfigures the baler for a material change by selecting it from a menu (no cheat sheets); an optional SmartBale Mobile Remote adds portable touchscreen monitoring and control.
- Large “Wide Box” clear opening with tongue-and-groove floor; handles post-industrial cardboard, scrap metals, paper, fiber, and plastics.
- Interlocking plate-steel construction; replaceable AR-hardened wear liners.
- Multi-edge replaceable shear blades with extended progressive cutting profile to reduce shear jams.
- Floor-mounted hydraulic reservoir; clogged-filter, high-temp, and low-level sensors.
- Ram and door position transducers automate bale size, finishing, shear-jam prevention, wire placement, and ejection.
- Bale separation door prevents cross-contamination; dual-redundant safety relay system.
- SmartBale intelligent control: password-protected parameter sets per commodity (wire count/placement, pressure, bale size, photo-eye, conveyor speed, multi-motor).
- Displays bale size, remaining-to-full, average and largest charge.
- Password-protected maintenance/troubleshooting screens.
